"who the heck is this guy and why should I read what he has to say?"
My name’s Pat. I’m 21y.o, and live with my fiancee in Brisbane Australia. I’m a very laid back person and am always up for a laugh, I guess you could say I’m the person who takes the opportunity to say something funny at someone elses’ expense. Mind you my guildmates and ingame friends see those sort of comments as the banter that it is, and are able to laugh it off.
Unfortunately being the internet, sarcasm is hard to convey and the odd person thinks I’m having a crack at them. I will apologise and explain the situation to people if they take something the wrong way, but life goes on.
I’ve always been a fairly solo priest in raiding guilds in TBC. With the drop in raiding size from 40-25mans I slotted into a fairly solid raid healing role. I have been largely without a holy priest of any real ability to talk to and share my thoughts with in any guild I have raided with in TBC. I value the sharing of information as if it were a golden goblet filled with the blood of 1000 virgins. It is this situation that originally led me to reading blogs, in an attempt to read about how others play their classes, and the experiences that they have in Azeroth.
I am new to blogging, so my knowledge and understanding of HTML and how this whole scenario works is a little lacking, but I’m getting there.
After a short break I returned to WoW with the release of The Burning Crusade, and levelled my priest to 70. I began raiding on Barthilas and found my home with Blue Label.
All of my Burning Crusade Experience to date in anything past Karazhan has been with them. Countless hours in Magtheridons’ Lair (Pre-Nerfs) getting the fight down pat and gearing tanks with their T4 chestpieces. Gearing tanks with NR / FR gear for the hydross fight and overcoming the fights in SSC / TK.
In September 2007, the guild disbanded and merged with another Barthilas guild, due to a large portion of the core raiders jumping ship to take an easy ride to Illidan with a group of fresh transfers from "Iron Chefs" on Frostmourne. The life that was left in the remnants of Blue Label was shortly revived with the creation of NoChocolate where I still reside today.
We have now killed Archimonde and are attempting Illidan in Black Temple.
Please share my experiences with me and give me any feedback you feel necessary. I hope as the blog grows, that you may be able to find some useful information amongst my ramblings.
